Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Atatürk) has announced it has disposed of its sole VIP-configured A340-500, TC-CAN (msn 902).

In a filing to the Istanbul bourse, the carrier said only that the 10-year-old aircraft had been sold. The end buyer and price were not disclosed.

The A340-500 was operated by Turkish Airlines General Aviation (TRK, Istanbul Atatürk) and was used extensively by Turkish president Recep Erdogan for his official foreign travels.
